Frequently asked Questions
"Is it true you are a Moonman. from the Moon? Also, that you were taught drawing magic by a wizard called Zizzle Jim, who lives on a shooting star?”
"I am not a Moonman. I am a human, from Earth. I was born in the fine cathedral city of Lincoln, England. I studied Fine Art at De Montfort University, Leicester. I also did a masters degree in Illustration at the Camberwell School of Art in London. To my knowledge, sadly there were no wizards in any of these places.
"What do you use to draw with? Do you use a magical drawing pen that draws whatever you're thinking of for you? ”
"I would love a magical drawing pen! I don't have one though so I draw using a computer instead. I have a special screen that I can draw on with a special pen. A scientific pen, not a magical one! See the diagram below”
"I want to draw pictures and write stories too. I think mine would be much better than yours. Do you have any tips? Do I need to visit a mystical spirit dragon?”
"The best thing you can do is practice, practice and practice some more. It's officially the best way to get good at something. Draw everyday. Write everyday. Just don't give up when it gets hard.”
"Where do you get your ideas for stories? Do you find them in old shoes? Do you have an army of little mice collecting ideas for stories and pictures?”
"I can have an idea for a story at any time, but I have most of my ideas while walking my dog, Ziggy. Once I have an idea I often think about it for months before I do anything with it. It can change quite a lot in that time. I also forget quite a lot of my ideas, maybe I should start writing them down.”
"I have a question! You have to answer it! What is your favourite video game? What is your favourite book? What is your favourite film? What is your favourite colour? What is your favourite animal? Tell me! Please!”
"That is more than one question! I will answer them all though because you said please. Manners are very important! Please take a look below.”

"I hope there will be one someday, but there are no plans right now."
I can't think of a question! Is that okay?
"Of course!"
Can I write you a letter? Or an email? Or a tweet? Will you read it?
"Of course! Please take a look at my contact information:
I will try to reply as quickly as possible, but please be patient. Sometimes I can be super busy and I don't have time to respond for quite a while. I'll reply as soon as I can though!"
"Can I buy some artwork, or a painting, or a print or anything like that?
"I don't have anything like that available right now. But if I ever do I'll make sure to post about it on this website"
